Student Tools
Evanston Township High School provides a variety of online tools to help students stay connected, organized, and on track with your learning. Below are the main platforms you’ll use as a student.
myETHS
Your one-stop portal for ETHS resources. Use myETHS to access your digital Student ID, review your Tardy Tracker, and more.
Home Access Center (HAC)
Check your grades, attendance, class schedules, and report cards. HAC is the place to go if you want to keep track of your academic progress throughout the semester.
Google Workspace (G Suite)
Your ETHS email, Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Drive are all part of Google Workspace. These tools help you complete your schoolwork and keep things organized in one place.
Google Classroom
Many teachers use Google Classroom to share assignments, post announcements, and collect your work. Check Classroom regularly to make sure you’re up to date with class activities.
Login Information
All ETHS students use their network login to access school computers, tablets, District-issued Chromebooks, ETHS Google Workspace, student email, HAC, and myETHS.
Your network username is created using:
-
First name initial
-
Middle name initial
-
First 8 characters of your last name
-
A number at the end if needed to make it unique
Example: A student named Michael James Carter might have the username mjcarter (unless that username was already taken).
Grade 9 students receive their Home Access Center (HAC) usernames along with their Chromebooks at Freshman Orientation. Grades 10-12 log in to HAC and myETHS using their ETHS computer network username and password. Transfer students receive their HAC usernames at New Student Orientation or, if they enroll later in the year, from the ChromeZone (H220). If you need help with HAC or myETHS, stop by the South Technology Center (S220).
