Senior Central

Held in March, the Senior Assembly takes place in the auditorium and is led by the Associate Principal for Educational Services, the Senior Dean and the Director of Student Activities. Students receive important information about prom, graduation, and end-of-year events. A recording of the presentation is made available online after the assembly.

A fun end-of-year celebration for seniors at Lazier Field! After dismissal on the last day of school for seniors, enjoy a DJ, free food trucks, yearbook pickup and signing, and time to hang out, share memories, and say goodbye to your classmates, teachers, and high school.

Senior Prom is a formal celebration that honors the senior class and their time at ETHS. Held towards the end of the school year, it’s a special night to celebrate achievements, friendships, and say farewell to high school. Students come together for a night featuring dinner, dancing, and entertainment—making unforgettable memories before graduation. For more information to help you prepare, visit eths202.org/Prom.

A special evening recognizing seniors who have earned scholarships, awards, and other distinctions at ETHS. Families are invited to celebrate student achievements.

Senior Nights for Athletics take place throughout the year, typically (though not always) on the last home game of the season. This series of events honors senior athletes in their respective sports, celebrating their contributions and achievements in their final year at ETHS.

ETHS’s version of “Decision Day,” this celebration highlights all post-high school plans, including college, career, gap year, military, and other pathways. Seniors are recognized for their next steps in a fun and supportive environment.

• Keep track of assignments, projects, and exams.
• Reach out to teachers, counselors, or other staff if you need support.
• Attend AM Support, the Academic Study Center, Wildkit Academy, and other Academic Supports as needed.
• Finish any incomplete or missing work.

It’s never too early—or too late—to start thinking about life after high school. Exploring your options, making a plan, and preparing for what’s next takes time, but you don’t have to do it alone. Don't let tardies be the reason you miss out on senior activities! Clear up any outstanding tardies before the eligibility deadline. Unresolved tardies can affect your eligibility for senior events like Prom or Senior Send-Off.

Tardies can add up, and we know it can feel overwhelming. Don’t get discouraged. If you’re struggling to keep up or need help making a plan, talk to your Dean about making a plan to help you manage things more effectively and get back on track. We want to see you at senior events.

• Review Senior Central and linked resources for important information.
• Check FAQs for common questions about graduation.

Use the Graduation Clearance Slip to make sure you're cleared for graduation. This includes:

• Completing your SchooLinks To Do list.
• Ensuring your name and address are accurate and up-to-date in Home Access Center.
• Ordering your cap and gown for graduation.
• Returning textbooks, calculators, and other school-issued materials on time.
• Resolving any outstanding fees or fines by the deadline.
• Getting prom tickets.

Find them—they’re in your room somewhere!

• Track down all your textbooks, library books, calculators, and other school items early so you’re not scrambling at the end of the year.
• Return everything to the Book Distribution Center (S112) by the deadline to avoid late fees and fines.
• Check your myETHS account if you are unsure which books/calculators need to be returned. In the upper right hand corner, under your name, select My BDC Obligations.

After you graduate, you’ll have up to two months to save any files from your Google Drive, email, or Chromebook before your account is deactivated.

• Students get to keep their Chromebooks, but all local files will be deleted.
• Be sure to download or transfer what you need before access ends.
