The student parking lottery process for the 2026-27 school year was delayed due to the recent cybersecurity incident. As a result, ETHS will use a new, temporary application and permit allocation process. All students who wish to participate in the lottery must submit a Student Parking Lottery Registration Form to opt-in, even if they previously registered through myETHS. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
How To Enter
- Submit a Student Parking Lottery Registration Form.
- Pay all outstanding fees and fines by July 26 through the ETHS Web Store (details below).
- Monitor your ETHS email for lottery results and next steps.
Details about eligibility, deadlines, and next steps are provided below.
Eligibility Requirements
The parking lottery is open to students entering Grade 12 only. Students must have no outstanding balance on their student account in order to be eligible. Students and families can check the current account balance through the ETHS Web Store using the Student ID number.
Please note: Due to the cybersecurity incident, detailed account information is temporarily unavailable and cannot currently be displayed online.
How to Enter
To enter the parking lottery, students must complete the Student Parking Lottery Registration Form by July 26, 2026. A new registration form is required for all students, including those who previously registered through myETHS. There is no fee to enter the lottery.
Submitting a lottery registration form does not guarantee that a student will receive a parking permit. Students should monitor their ETHS email closely throughout the process, as all lottery results, deadlines, and instructions will be communicated by email.
Students must pay all outstanding balances in full by July 26, 2026, for their registration to remain eligible for the lottery. Payments may be made through ETHS Web Store using the Student ID number, by phone at (847) 424-7100, or in person at the Business Office (H108). A receipt will be provided as confirmation of payment. Please note: Students who have not paid their outstanding account balance by the deadline will be removed from the lottery.
Permit Cost and Payment
The cost of a student parking permit is $400. A discounted parking permit rate of $200 is available for students who qualify for financial assistance. Payment must be made in full before the permit is issued.
Lottery Results and Permit Purchase
Only students who have submitted the new Student Parking Lottery Registration Form will be included in the lottery. Students who previously registered through myETHS must re-register using the new form. Parking permits are issued to individual students and may not be sold, shared, transferred, or used by another student.
Students will be selected through a randomized system and notified by email by July 29. To secure their parking permit, selected students must complete a permit registration process and submit payment by August 2, 2026. As part of the permit registration process, students will be required to provide current vehicle and driver information, including a valid driver’s license, license plate number, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. Additional instructions about the permit registration process and payment options will be included in the notification email.
Parking permits will not be held for students who miss the permit registration or payment deadline. Any parking permits that have not been claimed and paid for by August 2 will be released through a second-round lottery. Students selected in the second round will be notified by email on August 3 and must complete the permit registration and payment process by the deadline provided.
Parking Permit Pick-Up
Parking permits will be available for pick-up on August 6-7, 2026. Detailed pick-up instructions will be shared directly with students by email. Students who receive a parking permit must follow all ETHS student parking rules and regulations. These requirements are available at eths202.org/parking.
