Withdrawal from School

To start the process and notify ETHS about your intent to withdraw your student, complete the Withdrawal Form online. Once submitted, please allow a minimum of three school days for processing.

After processing begins, the Registrar's Office will contact you via email to confirm your student's official withdrawal date and provide next steps for returning materials and finalizing the withdrawal process.

Before the withdrawal is finalized, students must return all school-issued materials, including:

• Student photo ID

• Chromebook and charger

• Textbooks and library books

• Athletic gear

• Other ETHS property

Specific return instructions will be outlined in the email sent by the Registrar's Office.

Any outstanding student fees must be paid in full before records can be released.

• Pay Online: You can view and pay fees online via myETHS

• Pay by Phone: Call Business Services at (847)424-7110 to make payment arrangements

• Pay In-Person: Visit the Business Office (H110)

Once all steps are complete and all materials have been returned, ETHS will release an official transcript to your student’s new school.
