Mental Health & Wellness

At Evanston Township High School, we believe that wellbeing is essential to student success—in school and in life. We are committed to supporting the mental health of all students through a network of resources, caring adults, and wellness-centered programs. ETHS provides licensed and trained mental health professionals on campus to support the emotional and social well-being of our students.

Your mental health matters. Everyone struggles sometimes, and asking for help is a sign of strength. We are here to support you, no matter what you're going through.

When to Reach Out

Everyone needs support sometimes. If you're experiencing any of the following, it's a good idea to talk to a trusted adult at ETHS:

  • You’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unusually sad

  • You're having a hard time focusing or keeping up with school

  • You're going through a tough situation at home or with friends

  • You’re feeling isolated or unsure about your identity or future

  • You’ve experienced something traumatic or are grieving a loss

  • You’re having thoughts of hurting yourself or others
