Case Management
The Student Services Department supports students with 504 Plans, ensuring they receive the accommodations and resources they need to succeed both academically and personally. Our Case Managers work closely with students, families, teachers, and other staff to monitor progress, coordinate services, and advocate for student needs.

Understanding 504 Plans
A 504 Plan is a formal plan developed under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 to provide accommodations and support for students with disabilities so they have equal access to school programs and activities. Think of a 504 Plan as a way to level the playing field so students with disabilities have the supports they need to succeed alongside their peers.

| Eligibility | Students must have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities (like learning, walking, hearing, or concentrating). |
| Referral & Evaluation | Anyone can refer a student for evaluation. Services and accommodations are provided at no cost to families. |
| Individualized Plans |
504 Plans are developed collaboratively with parents/guardians, teachers, and school staff, outlining the accommodations and supports each student will receive to ensure they can participate fully in class, school programs, and activities. Unlike an IEP, a 504 Plan does not provide specialized instruction. Instead, it provides accommodations such as:
