Summer Schedule and Updates
Please be aware of the following schedule for summer building access and office hours at Evanston Township High School District 202.
  • Beginning June 1 through July 31, ETHS will operate on a Monday through Thursday summer work schedule. District offices will be closed to the public on Fridays. Summer School will be in session on June 5 and 12.
  • 12-month offices will be able to schedule visitors on a limited basis by appointment.
  • The Gym Wing will be closed June 29-July 5 to prepare athletic facilities for the upcoming school year, including Phase 1 of installing air conditioning in the Gym Wing.
  • Regular hours will resume beginning Monday, August 3.

Summer School (June 1–July 9)

  • Students attending summer school may enter through Entrance 1 (Dodge Avenue) or Entrance 2 (Wildkit Drive).
  • The Summer School office will be located in the Deans’ Office (H109).
  • The office will be open from 7:00am – 2:30pm, Monday-Friday from June 1-12 and Monday-Thursday June 15-July 9. They can be reached at (847) 424-7950.

Athletics Office

ChromeZone Summer Hours (June 1–August 7)

  • Students and staff may visit the ChromeZone (H220) for technology support during the following hours: 7:45am-1:45pm, Monday-Friday from May 26 - June 12 and Monday-Thursday through July 9.
  • Tech support is by appointment only from July 13 through August 7.
  • Regular hours will resume on August 10.

ETHS Health Center Summer Hours (May 26– July 13)

  • The ETHS Health Center will remain in its regular location (H101) during the summer and will be open regular hours for ALL students, 8:00am - 4:00pm from May 26 - June 12.
  • Beginning June 15 and through July 9, the Health Center will be open Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:00pm (closed 12:00-1:00pm), and closed on Fridays.
  • Regular hours resume July 13.

Nurses’ Office* (Health Services) Summer Hours (June 1–July 31)

  • The Nurses’ Office will remain in N121 during the summer. The Nurses’ Office will be open:
    • May 26-29, Tuesday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
    • June 1-July 31, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm and Friday June 5 & 12, 8:00am-1:30pm
  • No nurse is available:
    • After 1:30 pm from May 26–July 9
    • July 10- 31
  • Regular hours will resume on August 3.

*Health forms may be placed in the drop boxes located at Entrance 1 and Entrance 2.

Staff Institute Days: August 13-14; Building closed August 13

  • ETHS will be closed on Thursday, August 13, to welcome back staff for our opening institute day. Visitors will not be able to conduct general business in the school on this day, as all staff members will be involved in institute training sessions.
  • The high school will reopen on August 14, at 9:30am.

The first day of the 2026-27 school year is Monday, August 17, 2026.
