Student Parking Lottery Information
ETHS District 202 has a limited number of student parking spaces available each school year. A lottery system is used to determine which students may purchase parking permits. New this year: only current ETHS students who will be in grade 12 for the upcoming school year (2026-27) are eligible to register for the lottery. Eligible students should follow the steps and guidelines below:
 
  • Registration for the lottery opens on May 11 and ends on July 16.
  • NEW: only current ETHS students who will be in grade 12 for the upcoming school year (2026-27) are eligible to register for the lottery. They can register via their myETHS account. One registration per eligible student is allowed.
  • Registered students will be selected randomly through a lottery drawing on July 21 and will receive an email notification. Students are also assigned randomly to a parking lot space.
  • Accommodations will not be made to adjust the assigned lot or space.
  • All student account balances must be paid in order to be selected in the parking lottery.
  • If a student account balance is left unpaid, the parking spot will go to the second-round lottery.
  • Lottery winners may purchase a parking permit from July 21, 2026 until July 28, 2026, through the ETHS Webstore.
  • Lottery winners can purchase one (1) parking permit. The cost is $400. For lottery winners who qualify for financial assistance, the cost is $200.
  • Permits not purchased by July 28 will be made available for purchase in a second-round lottery on July 29. Students selected in the second-round lottery will be notified by email.
    • Second-round lottery winners must buy their permit by August 4.
  • Permit pick-up will occur on the first two days of school. Times and location will be shared with lottery winners.
  • Students and parents/guardians are responsible for reading and understanding the ETHS Student Parking Rules and Regulations that are detailed on the ETHS website.
