Incoming Freshmen Registration
Welcome, future Wildkits! We’re excited to help your family begin the journey to Evanston Township High School. Enrollment for incoming freshmen (current 8th grade students) opens in the fall. To attend ETHS, students must live within District 202 boundaries on a full-time, permanent basis. Please review the District 202 district boundaries and residency requirements before starting the enrollment process.
Steps to Register Your Student
Enrollment is completed online. To register an 8th grade student to attend ETHS next school year, follow the steps below. For assistance with the registration process, please contact the Welcome Center by email enrollment@eths202.org or by phone (847)424-7047.
- Step 1: Complete Online Enrollment Form and Submit Required Documents
- Step 2: Complete Placement Testing
- Step 3: Request Elective Courses
- Step 4: Pay Student Fees
- Step 5: Attend Freshman Orientation

Medical
State law requires that students submit a physical examination and documentation of the required immunizations to complete enrollment in Illinois schools. For more information, visit Nurses' Office.

Registration Days: In-Person Support
Parents/guardians of current 8th grade students can complete the New Student Registration process online at any time. ETHS also hosts Registration Days where families can get in-person assistance with the registration process. Interpretation services are available during Registration Days. Please refer to the ETHS Calendar for more information.
What to Bring to Registration Days:
- Parent/Guardian Photo ID
- Student’s Birth Certificate
- Proof of Residency Documents
- Required Medical Forms
Class T-Shirt for Incoming Freshmen
After completing registration, incoming freshmen students receive a class t-shirt as an official welcome to ETHS! Pickup is available at select incoming freshmen events. Once registration is complete and approved, families will receive an email with pickup instructions. T-shirts are available while supplies last.
