How to Get Started
It’s never too early—or too late—for students to start thinking about their future after high school. Exploring options, making a plan, and preparing for what’s next takes time, but students don’t have to do it all alone. Getting started may feel overwhelming, but College & Career Services is here to support you every step of the way.
Here are three steps to get started:
| 1 | Check Your ICAP | Review your Individualized Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) to see where you are in the process and identify your next steps. Make sure to track your progress in SchooLinks. |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Meet with Your Counselor | Make an appointment with your assigned counselor to discuss your options. Your counselor is your primary point of support and a great place to start. They can help you identify your goals, answer questions, and guide you toward resources that align with your plans. Find your counselor. |
| 3 | Visit College & Career Services | After meeting with your counselor about your post-high school plans, visit the College & Career Services Office in The Hub for additional support, information, and guidance as you continue taking steps toward your future goals. You can request an appointment or walk-in for support during your free blocks, study hall, or lunch block. |
