ETHS Therapeutic Day School

Students engage in core academic subjects aligned with the general education curriculum, including English, Math, Science, History and Social Studies, and Physical Education. These courses prepare students for successful completion of high school and future opportunities.

The academic program at ETHS Therapeutic Day School combines rigorous coursework with personalized social-emotional support to foster both educational achievement and personal growth.

In addition to core academics, students have access to elective courses tailored to their interests and strengths. Vocational learning is emphasized through partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, offering practical experiences that build career readiness.

SEL is a foundational part of our academic program. Students practice daily mindfulness and learn skills in emotional regulation, self-advocacy, independence, and positive social interactions. This approach supports academic success by helping students build resilience and strong interpersonal skills.

Our program includes specialized mental health and therapeutic services embedded throughout the school day. Students receive individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and skill-building focused on emotional regulation, coping strategies, and trauma-informed care. These supports are designed to help students overcome challenges that impact learning and behavior.

To ensure students succeed, the program offers a range of supports including:

• Targeted academic tutoring before and after school

• Structured study halls for focused learning time

• Individualized case management coordinating academic and social-emotional services

Students benefit from access to ETHS’s main campus resources such as science labs, libraries, College and Career Services, and media centers, connecting them to the broader school community and enriching their learning experiences.
