Libraries
Evanston Township High School is home to two school libraries: Central Library and East Library. Our libraries are staffed by professional librarians and support staff who are here to help students access resources, navigate research, and find books that spark interest and curiosity. Whether you are seeking a quiet place to study, looking for your next favorite book, or diving into research, consider visiting our libraries.

Books ‘R’ Us Book Club
Founded in 2001, the ETHS Books 'R' Us Book Club is an after-school activity open to all ETHS students. The club is dedicated to promoting a love of reading for pleasure and building community through books.
Students in Books 'R' Us read titles that are culturally relevant, thought-provoking, and reflective of the diverse voices and experiences within the ETHS student body. Club meetings offer a welcoming and safe space where students can share their thoughts, connect with peers, and express themselves freely through discussion.
