Academic Study Center
Located in E212, the Academic Study Center (ASC) is your go-to space for extra academic support at ETHS. Staff are available to help you with coursework and assignments in various subjects, including English/Reading, History, Math, Science, World Languages, and Multilingual Education. Whether you need help understanding a concept, completing an assignment, or preparing for a test, the ASC is here to help you.
How the ASC Can Help
- Ask questions about an assignment or lesson
- Get extra practice on a concept
- Prepare for a quiz or test
- Work on late or missing work
- Clear 2 tardies per block
When to Visit
The ASC is open every block during the school day and is available to all students.
- Students may use the ASC only during a lunch block, study hall (with a pass), or free block.
- Students may not miss class to work in the ASC.
- You can clear up to 2 tardies per block in the ASC.
What to Bring
- Student ID to scan in
- Your Chromebook
- Any assignments, textbooks, or study materials for the subject you need help with
Note: While you can attend during your lunch block, the ASC is a food-free space, so lunches are not permitted.
Attending During Lunch?
The ASC is a food-free space. If you come to the ASC during your lunch period and wish to leave early, you can receive a pass to the cafeteria for the remainder of the block. We know schedules can be busy, and we want to make sure you still have time to eat. We also encourage students to explore additional academic supports available throughout the day.
