These honors celebrate excellence, dedication, and the vital role that our educators and staff play across the district. Award recipients are listed on this page and celebrated for their service to ETHS and our school community.
Teacher Excellence Awards
A longstanding ETHS tradition, the Teacher Excellence Award honors exceptional classroom teachers who demonstrate outstanding instructional practice, model a deep commitment to students, and inspire their colleagues through their work. The award program is run by ETHS faculty, including funding, nominations, and voting.
Guillebeaux/Arceneaux Spirit Award
The Guillebeaux/Arceneaux Spirit Award honors the work and dedication of support staff across the district. It recognizes individuals who embody a strong commitment to ETHS and whose professionalism, care, and service have a meaningful impact on the school community. The award is named in honor of the lives and legacies of former ETHS staff members Ernestine Guillbeaux and Sharon Arceneaux.
